Did this last night on Tegaki....
I know, it's a rather dark premise, but this is how I kind of view this pairing. But I'm not consistent with Tobi's mask and I can't draw blood.... u.u Here's how I view this... -grins- Explanation Start After a small battle between Tobi and Kakashi, Naruto and Yamato, Tobi recognizes Yamato's Mokuton no Jutsu. He finds out that Yamato's been infused with Shodaime's DNA. Shortly after learning this, Tobi decides that he wants Yamato so he can do... well whatever he wants with him. Basically, a type of revenge deal... because Shodaime and Tobi are former lovers and Tobi feels he was betrayed. So, Tobi holds a meeting with the Kages (Sasuke, Kakashi, Naruto and Yamato end up there too... of course) to make a deal. If Tobi gets Yamato and he'll call off the Akatsuki and his personal war. The Kages all agree after a moment of discussing it. The idea of "one to save millions" comes to mind. Naturally, Kakashi and Naruto fight against the deal, but Yamato understands where the Kages are coming from. So, he hands himself over to Tobi...
